Escuella Luz Del Mundo
Recently a retired Captain from the Albuquerque Fire Department made a random act request to help a small school in Albuquerque's Trumble neighborhood. The school, only a few years old, is the educational institute for twenty five students in the seventh and eighth grades. The school is growing and expanding and one of their greatest needs was heaters. The schools main building had heat but their recently added classroom and lab didn't. Random Acts was excited when Albuquerque Fire Department Engine Company 11 showed up with eight wall mounted heaters for the school. The children throughly enjoyed the break from studies to try on the firefighter's bunker gear and check out the truck. Within a week another Albuquerque firefighter showed up off duty and volunteered to use his electricians business to install the heaters for the school.
