Extreme Home

The hit ABC TV show "Extreme Home Makeover" came to Albuquerque to make a new home for the Martinez family and Random Acts was able to volunteer everyday while they were here. Our jobs ranged from unloading boxes, helping with demolition, hanging drywall, pouring concrete, moving in furniture, any many many more. It was such an amazing experience for all of us and really helped define our desire to help our community. Although it was a lot of early and very long days in the end there was a beautiful new house in Albuquerque's Trumble neighboorhood that represented growth and change. We have become close friends with the reciepients of the house, Pastor Martinez and his family, and have actually done a few subsiquent random acts with them. We recomend that everyone go to ABC's web site and watch the show and see what a wonderfull thing they did when they came into our town.
