Christmas 2010
Random Acts firefighters were over-whelming over this Christmas with their compassion, generosity, and desire to give to children who needed a visit from Santa. The firefighters, through Random Acts were able to make several hospital trips, an orphanage trip, and even have several families over to fire stations. The families came to the station, helped the crew decorate the Christmas tree, had dinner with the crew and then opened presents. All-in-all Random Act firefighters distributed gifts to 92 children and served meals to three families. We know that in this economy buying gifts was difficult for many families and we are so blessed that the firefighters were able to help these families and surprise the children. Our hope is that every year we can help more and more children and see the impact helping them has on the firefighters as well. Thanks to everyone who helped us bless these families.
HUGE thanks to Payless Shoes who gave us a grant for 25 free pairs of kids shoes that we were able to distribute to needy children.
